The fear of the lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and understanding.
Today I watched as they came to turn the grass hay that had been lying in the field next door. When finished they began to bale what they had turned. The weather had been beautiful, hovering in the 80s. When they had stacked it near the barn, they left. As I looked out the window later in the day, storm clouds began to rise in the South and then rain came cooling the air that had been so warm. The hay uncovered, became the victim of circumstances that we were unaware of.
As I watched this scene unfold, I was aware of how we as Christians undertake a project, without first seeking God’s wisdom in prayer, leaving us wide open to the enemy’s attacks. We become fools who have not true wisdom, nor understanding.
