But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.
I painted a picture that we hung in the living room, and one day my husband said: “Every time I look at that picture I see something different.”
This reminded me of those that go from one Church to another, and hope to see what they are seeking, but never finding what they are looking for. The one reason behind this is a Church is made of humans, that have the same problems, and hurts that you are trying to escape from. Never realizing, that the words of God are never different, they stay the same wherever you go. If the Word of God is preached in the Church you attend, then there is where your heart will be given the whole picture.
Many times this moving is more to satisfy I, me, mine, always looking for what you want to hear. When I think of this, I began to realize that the cross never moved when Jesus was on it. The word stayed the same, this Jesus was born in a manger, preached for 3 and one half years, was crucified, and rose again. He died to save us, to have eternal life with Him. All we have to do is believe.
