John 10:10

I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Before I became a Christian, my life was filled with worry, a feeling of being lost, and just accepting that this was how life was. But one morning I felt as though something deep inside me said: Jeanie get baptized. I had no idea what this meant, but the calling was so strong, that knew I had to do this

After a few calls, I found a Pastor that would arrange to have this done, but on one condition, and that was if I promised to come to his church for two months. and if I agreed to this he would baptize me.

The day I was baptized in the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, I began to see the world and all those around me in a different light. I felt a love towards others that I had never felt before. The things in my life that I treasured so much, became a part of my old life. The miracles that I had never seen before became abundantly clear, and the joy I felt in my heart was all new to me. I became a new person. I was born again, and because of this Jesus Christ became my Savior and Lord of my life. In Matthew 11:28 Jesus asked of me: Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. I called and he has given me rest, hope, and joy unspeakable.

I know of those that gave a death bed confession, and asked Jesus to come into their lives, before they passed away. They missed out on a life time of blessing that God had promised. If you have not asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, it is never too late to call upon the Lord. He does not force us, He waits for us to ask.
