Ephesians 6:17

Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is of word of God.

In the Garden of Eden was a tree that God had told Adam and Eve to not eat from, or else they would die.  It was called the tree of good and evil.

As I prayed for a story to put on the Blog the thought came to me, that when Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross, that cross became both good and evil.  Jesus Christ had no sin, but took upon Himself the sins of the world on the cross.

There were no Cherubim with flaming swords to guard the way to return to the Garden of Eden, in place of that a veil stood, and when Jesus said it is finished.  He not only gave His life, but that veil was split from the top to the bottom, opening the way to Heaven.

In my mind is the thought that as Jesus Christ gave up His Spirit, and as He ascended into heaven, He tore the veil from top to bottom, giving those that repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior a path to Heaven, and eternal life.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
