John 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

From John 1:14: we are told from the Bible, that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

When we say Jesus Christ is God “incarnate”, we mean God took on fleshly, bodily form, and was born of a Virgin.  I looked up the word incarnate, and here is the biblical definition of incarnate. (To be veiled in the flesh). So the very word of God came to Earth as a babe veiled in the flesh.

Even though He came veiled in the flesh; He did not lose His deity, because He forgave sins, healed the blind, cast out demons, raised Lazarus from the dead, turned water into wine, and many other miracles.

The God who created us, came as a babe born of a virgin, lived for 33 ½ years and died on a cross after having his beard pulled from His face, thirty nine lashes on His back, spit on, mocked, beaten and forced to carry the cross.  When He could no longer carry the cross, Simon the Cyrene was pulled from the crowd, to carry the cross the rest of the way to Golgotha, where He died for our sins.

Some worship Jesus by reading His words in the Holy Bible, being in fellowship with others, or attending Church on Sundays.

While others use it as party time, just as they did when of Jesus was on the Cross.

Which are you?
