Do not lay hands upon anyone to hastily, and thus share responsibility for the sins of others: keep yourself free from sin.
When I read this scripture, I began to think of how the scripture in Genesis 2:27 reads: And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
God gave us eyes to see, ears to hear, a mouth to speak, and hands to till the ground. These hands create works of art, touch the cheeks of a loved one, and maybe, just maybe the gnarled hands of a carpenter held the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, on the day our Savior Jesus Christ was born in a manger in Bethlehem.
These hands either do good, or do evil. They can be used to help another when they are in need, or these same hands can do evil.
Yet these hands have been raised by hundreds of thousands down through the years to praise our Mighty God and Savior Jesus Christ.
