John 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

But when the The fullness of time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law. Galatians 4:4

But emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Philippians 2:7-8

Since then the children share in flesh and blood. He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death, He might render powerless, him who had the power of death, that is the devil. Hebrews 2:14

See how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. John 3; 1

Have you ever notice that John does not mention the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem? Do you ever wonder why? Because he is writing about the one who is to big for Bethlehem. Out of eternity the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us.
