John 14:2

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

What is a witness? This is a person that has seen and heard something, and tells it like it is. In the case of the Christian when we witness, it should be something we have seen and heard that glorifies God. We have things every day that we can see where God has been a part of of.

Jesus witnessed when he told the disciples about what was waiting in heaven for them: which was a place of many mansions.

When I first became a Christian, I thought that a witness, was how I came to accept Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. In time I learned that every day, I can share what God has done for me that day, or that week. It does not have to be to a lost person, but it also uplifts a Christian, who might need a little reminder of the Glory of God.

I have a story that happened nine years ago, and last week God explained to me what I did not understand then.

My dad had passed away, and my sisters and brother shared with me all that he had given them before he died, while I had received nothing. My feelings were hurt and for those nine years I could not understand why I was left out. Last week the Lord spoke to me and said: Do you not understand what your earthly father left you? When I said no, He told me that my dad had left me with the ability to use words to write, and the humor he had. , I had written a book on the Eternal Spirit that has been published, started this blog, and enjoy making people laugh. The words in the book will go on after I am no longer here, and I hope that my humor will be remembered in the same way.

Always look for a way to tell other what God has done for you. This is witnessing.
