Rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer.
This last week has been one, that the only way to get through it was to pray with all my heart for God to heal my husband. He had an episode on Saturday that frightened me, and he refused to let me call for help. On Sunday, he began to have chest pains, and agreed to let me call the ambulance. He was admitted to the hospital, and after several tests the nurse came to me and said they had found a blockage in the main artery to his heart. She was very sorry, but there was nothing they could do.
That evening I began to make phone calls to everyone I knew asking them to please put my husband on their church prayer chain. We continued to pray until Tuesday, when they held an intervention with several other doctors, to see if there might be another option.
On Wednesday morning, they decided that maybe they could do a stress test to see if he might be strong enough to undergo a procedure that might help. We continued to pray, and late morning the Doctor came in and said, “We can find no blockage in the main artery, and will be releasing him later this afternoon.
God had answered our prayers, and He had made a way again.
