Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from you Father.
When I read this verse I am reminded that no matter what happens to me, God is aware of my coming and goings. He has a plan for our lives, and if we will open our hearts to Him, He will guide and lead us to where we are to be in this life. We may go through sorrow, but God is aware of it, and will never leave us.
I asked my husband this question “Why do we not see where birds die, there are so many of them, and yet there are not but one or two that we see in a day that has died?” Where we live in the country we have many Magpies’, which is a black and white bird that you hear squawking all day long. As evening draws near, the sounds of the Magpie stops, and looking up into the sky, I see them come together to form a flock flying to the East. This is a nightly ritual that happens all spring and summer. Where are they going when they gather like this? Do thy have a special place that hides them from the dangers of the night? But I know they are created by God, and not one of them is lost without the Father knowing.
We also have a special and saved place waiting for us when our time comes, but to reach this special place, we have to be known by the Father.
Ephesians 2:8 tells us: For by grace you have been saved through Faith, and that not of yourselves, it is a gift from God.
To be saved, we must have faith in God, then we will be able to abide in this special place with Him.
