Ezekiel 46:9

But when the people of the land shall come before the Lord in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by way of the north gate to worship, shall go out by way of the south gate: and he that entereth by the way of the south gate shall go forth by way of the north gate: he shall not return by way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over against it.

Some observe that this may remind us, in the service of God, to be still pressing forward, and not to look back, in our attendance upon ordinances, not to go back as we came, but more holy, and heavenly and spiritual.

When I read this scripture, it reminded me that when we enter into the House of Worship, that if we came in by the north door, we should go out the opposite door. This was another way of saying for me, that if I came in the north door angry and sad, that I should leave by the south door happy after spending time with the Lord our God in praise and worship.

How many time have you watched someone come into Church on Sunday with a frown on their face,, and after service, watch them as they leave with the same frown.

The Lord tells us in Psalm 55:22 to: Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee: He will never suffer the righteous to be moved.
