Matthew 18:20

“For where two or three have gathered together in My name, there I am in their midst.”

This scripture became very clear to me, after my husband had a quadruple heart bypass.

We live on a small acreage and had a sprinkler system at the time. We changed pipe twice a day to irrigate. My husband who is a workaholic would carry the pipe from one end of the field to the next set, never resting until he was done.

This one day I felt the Holy Spirit nudging me to check on him, I was busy at the time so decided to wait until I was finished, but the nudging kept getting stronger.  I went to the back door to check on him and he was sitting down.  I walked up to see what was wrong, and found him short of breath, and perspiring heavily

We rushed to the Doctor, and he sent him to the hospital for tests, they immediately scheduled him for heart surgery the next day. After the surgery his heart began to flutter, and they were unable to slow it down.

While I was walking down the hall of the hospital to his room a couple days later, the Holy Spirit began to speak, telling me: “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, there I am in their midst.

When I entered his room, I looked at the heart monitor which was still showing an abnormality.  I told him what I had been told, and we began to pray together, and as we were in prayer, the door quickly opened.  The nurse on duty asked us what happened because his heart was beating normally, his pulse was normal, and his oxygen was now normal.  We told her we prayed, and she just smiled and left the room.
