John 10:30

I and my Father are one.

John 1:1 in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. (Jesus Christ)

This scripture brought up a question as I read it:  1st John 5.7 we are told: For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

When I accepted Christ into my heart, and was baptized, the Holy Spirit came to abide in me. I was shocked to put these scriptures together, and realize that God in the form of the Holy Spirit was guiding my life from then on. For so long I had in my mind separated the three, but they are three in one, so that meant God came to live in me. Even though they each have a different function, they are still one.

In 1 Corinthians 3:16 we are told:  Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
