“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
My husband had gone on an honor flight with several other Veterans to Washington DC. While he was there, he bought the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence, which were rolled up in three tall tubes, and we placed them on the buffet in our living room.
This morning after Bible Study, I looked over and saw only two standing there. I asked my husband where the other one was, he looked over and said I see three, and when I looked again I saw three shadows behind them on the wall. One had been placed directly behind another, so where I sat I could not see the third one.
This is sometimes the way it is when we do not seek His word. We read a little in our Bible, and then go on our way, not taking the time to seek out the whole truth. If we take time to spend in His word, we will see that there are answers that we did not see in the beginning. Words that just seem to jump out at you, that you did not see when you just read, but not studied.
